A few words on following your heart … and the “signs”.

Today, I’m writing to you from my new home!
As we get settled in (we = Cookie, Levi and I) into our new home and life, I wanted to share some honest messages from my heart to yours.
CHANGE STARTS WITH CHOICE
You’re getting to see the end result – me in my new home – but it is important to remember that before any end result, there are a gazillion-and-one opportunities of CHOICE.
Every single choice you make between where you are and where you want to be will affect your end results.
The choices you make in every individual moment are highly important.
In any given moment (opportunity of choice):
- You may feel challenged
- You may doubt whether or not you can do it
- You won’t want to do the thing you are being called to do…
Some choices will require you to “do the hard thing.” #truth
You will have moments of excitement!
You may also have moments of ugly-crying. (Also #truth.)
However it unfolds for you is perfect… but it’s important to remind you that change is not always easy – and that’s okay.
KEEP CHOOSING YOU!
Keep moving in the direction of your desire. Keep setting boundaries. Keep taking a stand for YOU.
FOLLOW YOUR HEART
No matter how challenging change is – follow your heart.
Take a stand for what YOU need.
Make choices in alignment with the future you wish for yourself.
Some days will be a small-step-forward.
Other days will be massive leaps forward!
Other days may be spent ugly crying.
… Again, keep going.
KEEP FOLLOWING YOUR HEART.
LOOK FOR THE “SIGNS”
Change can be scary.
On a personal note, I gravitate toward change better than most people (I’m just naturally wired and eager for personal growth & change), but it does not mean that change isn’t scary at times for me. (It can be!)
To ease any anxiety that shows up through massive change, I use the C2C curriculum every day…
..and ask GUS (God, Universe, Spirit/Source) to show me clear signs that I am moving in the right direction / in the right place.
The result?
I begin seeing “signs” at the most amazing moments. *Like this grasshopper totem that showed up through my final walk-through on my new house! Grasshoppers signify good luck and prosperity!
FOLLOW YOUR HEART & YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG
I wish you juicy levels of self-love.
As a former people-pleaser, I remember what it was like to not have the courage to take a stand for my needs and wants.
Once I made a promise to never again diminish my true essence for anyone, I began witnessing the positive end results.
If I could leave you with one important love bomb, it would be this:
Be brave with your life! Follow your heart. Take a stand for you.
