About the Guest:
Kim Garland is a clinical psychotherapist in private practice in Redmond, WA. She is a nationally board-certified counselor, a WA state licensed mental health counselor, and a board-certified public accountant. She started her career as a CPA in one of the biggest 6 professional services company in the world, the now defunct, Arthur Andersen. After spending over a decade in the corporate sector, in the areas of finance and technology, she transitioned into the field of psychology where she has been for the last 15 years.
Dr. Garland co-created a YouTube channel with Jess Bubbico called New Understandings. The intention of the show is to offer individuals who may not have an opportunity to see a therapist, thoughtful perspectives and insights to apply to their everyday life.
